Custom Keyboards Offline Earnings

The listing already pays while you are away. Use it before you install an executor.

Offline Earnings

The official Custom Keyboards description says keycaps earn cash while you are offline. That sentence is the whole idle system this wiki will document. It is not a secret farm. It is not a reason to inject a script. You place paying caps, you leave the experience, and the plot keeps printing. This page explains how to set that up, what offline cash will not do, and how it fits Kick Power, trading, and the Boba window.

If you came here looking for auto kick, stop. Auto kick rolls new caps. Offline earnings spend the caps you already placed. They are different jobs. A banned account does not keep either one.

What the listing actually promises

Kick a Keyboard published one idle claim: your keycaps earn cash while you are offline. It did not publish a formula, a cap, a decay timer, or a maximum hours-away. This wiki will not invent those numbers. Treat offline cash as a continuation of step money on the caps sitting on your board when you quit. Empty slots still pay nothing. Junk rarity still pays junk. A legendary in inventory still pays nothing.

That is why placement comes first. Read Getting Started and keycap tiers before you log off for the night. Offline earnings multiply the board you already built. They do not fix a board of commons.

Setup before you leave

  1. Close the shop, the trade window, and Spin the Wheel. A stuck menu can leave a cap unplaced.
  2. Fill every slot you own with the highest step-money caps you have. Equip-best is a start. Then look at the live income readout if the HUD shows one.
  3. Keep mutated pieces. A mid-rarity mutant can beat a blank higher rarity. See mutations and how to get mutations.
  4. Sell junk with sell-by-rarity so you do not leave a common sitting where a payer should sit.
  5. Spend leftover cash on Kick Power or slots using upgrade priority. Do not rebirth on the way out unless you already planned it on rebirth.
  6. Step the board once so the idle timer is rolling, then leave the experience. You do not need to stand in the server.

If Boba is live, do not sell themed drops just to tidy the board. Boba event quests can want those pieces. A slightly messy event board still beats a clean board that dumped the quest item.

What offline cash will not do

  • It will not kick the keyboard. New rolls require you (or a banned script) to be in the server.
  • It will not redeem BOBA, 650LIKES, 1000LIKES, 1500LIKES, TRADING, or 2000LIKES. Type those on how to redeem before you leave.
  • It will not claim daily or playtime gifts. Those are HUD buttons. See daily rewards.
  • It will not finish a trade. If a window is open, close it or decline. A 4-player server does not pause for your commute.
  • It will not buy the next keyboard. Kick Power waits for you.

If you need new rarity, you have to come back and kick. Offline cash is the money layer. Rolling is the loot layer. Keep them separate so you do not AFK on an empty starter board and wonder why nothing changed.

Offline versus AFK in-server

Standing still in the experience is not the same as leaving. Playtime rewards usually want you in the server. Offline cash wants you gone. Pick the goal:

  • Need the next playtime chest? Stay, stand on your own board, and read controls so you are not in the safe zone.
  • Need money while you sleep? Place payers, quit, come back, spend on Kick Power.
  • Need rolls? Kick by hand. A script that auto-kicks while you sleep is visible to three other players and breaks Roblox Terms of Use.

VIP servers were not enabled on the 5 September 2026 capture. You cannot hide an AFK character in a private instance. The 4-player cap is the whole privacy model.

Trading and offline boards

Other players can see your plot while you are gone if they stay in the server, but they cannot take your placed caps. They can offer a trade when you return. Do not leave a trade window open. Do not tell a stranger you will accept when you get back. Read how to trade after you collect, not before you log off.

If someone messages you about a deal on your offline mutant, treat it as a go-first scam until you are in the trade UI yourself.

After you return

Collect. Check the income number. Sell anything that underperforms. Kick. Place upgrades. Redeem any new likes-code on codes. If the Boba line is still on the listing, claim the event box. Then either kick another cycle or leave again.

A healthy rhythm for this tycoon is short kick sessions and long offline windows, not a 12-hour auto farm. The developers already sold you the idle. Use it.

Pair this page with best setups so the board you leave behind is actually worth collecting. If the plot still looks like a tutorial keyboard, stay in the server and kick. Offline earnings cannot invent Kick Power you never bought.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Codes, Kick Power, trading, and Boba answers in one place.

Do Custom Keyboards keycaps really pay while I am offline?

Yes. The official listing says they earn cash while you are away. Place paying caps first. Details above, spend order on upgrade priority.

Do I need a script to idle?

No. Leave the game. Third-party scripts can ban the account. Offline cash is the legal idle.

Will offline earnings roll new keycaps?

No. Rolling needs a kick. Come back and use how to kick when you want loot, not just cash.

Should I rebirth before logging off?

Only if you already planned it. An accidental reset wipes the board that would have paid overnight. Read rebirth.

Can I claim codes while offline?

No. Type the six listed strings on codes before you quit.
