Custom Keyboards Boba Event Guide

The Boba event is the limited-time layer on Custom Keyboards. The official Roblox description tells you to collect bobas for rewards and lists BOBA as a code. Community script menus expose auto claim for a Boba event box and Boba event quests. That is the public picture. This page tells you how to play that window without selling the wrong drops. It will not invent a boba-per-minute table.

If the event is not on the listing and BOBA fails to redeem, treat the window as closed and move leftover themed caps through keycap tiers like any other piece. Check events when the description changes.

First actions when Boba is live

1. Redeem BOBA plus the other listed strings on codes. Use how to redeem.
2. Join Kick a Keyboard if you have not. Group rewards can stack with event claims.
3. Stop sell-all. Themed drops may look like junk and still count for quests.
4. Walk the plot and any marked event spots. Collect bobas the same way you collect rolls: touch, claim, check the HUD.
5. Open the event box when the HUD says it is ready. Do not leave a full box sitting through a rebirth.

Kick Power still matters. Event currency does not replace the loop. You still kick, place, and step. Boba is extra objectives on top.

Quests versus boxes

Scripts mention both an event box and event quests. Play them as two sinks:

• Quests want you to collect, kick, or place during the window. Finish them before you trade themed pieces away.
• Boxes are claimable loot. Open them, then filter with the same S through F thinking as rare keycaps.

If a quest asks for boba count, do not sell bobas to the rarity vendor until the quest completes. If a quest asks for kicks, a weak keyboard still works; you are counting actions, not rarity. If a quest asks for money, step the board you already have instead of panic-buying a skin plot.

Trading during Boba

Themed caps spike in demand because they look new. That does not make them S for income. Step them. If they pay, keep. If they pay poorly but quests still need them, keep until the quest is done, then trade. How to trade still applies. Do not go first because someone says the boba is “limited secret.” Limited is not the same as paying.

Four players can crowd event pickups. If another person is camping a spawn, rotate. This is not a 50-player scramble. Waiting ten seconds is cheaper than a fight that gets you reported.

What not to do

• Do not rebirth in the last minutes of the window unless you have read rebirth and the prompt says event progress is safe. If the prompt is unclear, wait.
• Do not run auto-claim Boba on a brand-new account you care about. Auto farm is a ToS risk. Manual collect is enough on a 4-player map.
• Do not mix this event with Candy & Chocolate keyboard escape codes. Wrong game.
• Do not assume BOBA still works after the description drops the event line. Test it. If it fails for new accounts, it belongs on expired codes.

After the event

Themed cosmetics can stay on the board if they pay. If they do not pay, sell-by-rarity and refill with keepers from best setups. Spend leftover event cash on Kick Power and slots, same as any other cash. Upgrade priority does not change because the sky turned boba-colored.
